This is The Render Vault, a space where I share my passion for computer graphics and the technology around it.
Ever since I was a kid, I loved the idea of building my own videogames, even though at the time I knew absolutely nothing about how any of it worked. Over time, that curiosity led me into the world of computer science. In fact, I didn’t even know what computer science really was until my first day at university. That’s right, I joined my bachelor’s program mainly because they mentioned videogames.
Later on, I also fell in love with computer science itself, and I’m glad I discovered it from that angle first. It helped me see and understand things that I think I might have otherwise missed. It gave me a way of looking at problems and ideas that still shapes how I think today.
As time went on, I found myself working more and more with computer graphics, sometimes without even realizing it. I saw everything like a game, so every school project and later every work project, felt that way to me too. If you’d like to know more about my background, feel free to visit: www.iamsosag.com
Along the way, I searched for many ways to learn; books, articles, websites, YouTube videos, and more, and still felt like something was missing. That feeling is part of the reason why I decided to build The Render Vault and create Vaulty.
Vaulty is charismatic, curious, and knows a lot. Over time, you will see more of him and if I may say so... maybe one day we will see him in the physical world too.
I have a lot of ideas that I would love to share with you, and the blog and Vaulty are just the beginning. As The Render Vault grows and evolves, I will be releasing more of those ideas when the time feels right. Right now, my primarily focus is on building the audience and community, because without that, many of those ideas may never see the light.
I hope you have a great time reading and exploring. If there is something you would like to read more about, feel free to leave a comment or reach out through the contact section. I would love to hear your thoughts.
